2009 - do you find yourself pondering what the upcoming year will bring? I do.

Hopefully everyone had a fun-filled and safe New Year's Eve. Some of us joined Bill and Terri for what has become an annual tradition at White Fence Farm. It was a good evening and a few pictures can be found in December's monthly photos.

I forgot to mention when Adam was home over Christmas, he and I went to see Marley and Me. Have you seen it yet? I was pleasantly surprised - I enjoyed the movie.  We both were expecting a comedy, but it was more than that. It's one I'd definitely see.

Happy New Year everyone. It's hard to believe that 2008 is nearly behind us. I hope that everyone has a healthy and prosperous new year.

    The Christmas pictures  are great , wish  we could have been there.   We have a pretty winter scene at home with 42 inchws of snow on the ground it looks  like a winter scene.  We are concernded  about the weight of the snow on the roof.

     We have been having a cool winter here this year again.

Merry Christmas to all!

Rick and I are cooking a rib roast for dinner and hanging out today.  It weather is really beautiful today.  The sun is shinning and it is 76.  I still think the snow is beautiful but dont miss the cold.

I did take a look see at the pics from Christmas and it made me miss everyone so much.  Rick ask me today if I missed spending Christmas with the family and of course I said yes.  There are babies and so many young ones to watch.  Just know I miss everyone and even more at this time of the year.

It is time to get the roast out of the oven so I hope everyone got what they asked Santa for and I am wishing everyone a Blessed New Year.

I'd like to take a minute to wish everyone the Merriest Christmas Day.

We're not doing anything today. Adam is on his way home, Lani and Brian are going to his Mom's. I believe Lukas and Georgia will be with their dad today, and I'm pretty sure Yvette is working today.

We were treated to quite a site this morning in our backyard.  There were about 11 or 12 deer roaming in the neighbor's backyard.  Amazing really - in a residential area to see so many of them.

Has anyone watched a Christmas Story yet?  I'll at least have to tune it for a few minutes.  When my kids were little, we watched that movie all the time.

It was great to see everyone this past Saturday.  Our family is growing and having the little ones around made it even more special. I'm sure most of you have found the photos, but just in case they are in 2008 Photos under Holidays.

From our recent gathering, we have a new Butt What winner.  I'll be putting that picture up sometime today, so be sure and check back to see the lucky winner. (I'm so bad.)
